DiscussShare Your Own Adoption Story! Add a comment or Ask our expertAdoption story In April 2008 I adopted Felix & Oscar from the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter. Two weeks later I found another cat on their website. He was a stray. He is a polydactyl (extra toes, 7 on one foot, 8 on the other). Along with him I adopted another little guy. They are all orange and white males, Felix, Oscar, Bigfoot and Spiderman. They all get along great, all love each other and are just wonderful to have. I am so blessed with these guys. The secret to having multiple cats is feeding them a high quality food, using high quality litter, plenty of scratching posts or cat trees and of course, lots of love and affection. Agreed with you on all you said about the secret to having multiple cats. If I weren't allergic, I'd surely adopt one or two.
