Christine Larkin created the @katieboocat account because she wanted to get into Twitter and had no idea what she could possibly share about herself. Her cat Katie, however, is incredibly silly, so Larkin thought it would be fun to give her a voice. Some 1,600 followers later, Katie has even helped her make some real-life friends.

There are also tons of cats on Facebook, and many of them may have more friends than you do. D'Artagnan Rumblepurr, for example, has 806 friends. You should have seen his wall in November for his birthday! Daisy TheCurlyCat has 1,344 and Homer Blind WonderCat has 7,146 friends between two accounts.
